What a memestock is

A memestock is a Vectr token whose bonding curve is denominated in a stock token — a Robinhood Chain asset that tracks a public equity — rather than the native gas coin. Buying one means paying in the paired stock token, and its creator fees accrue in that same asset.

Why pair a token with a stock

Pairing chooses what the curve raises toward graduation. A stock-paired token's price is quoted in the stock asset, so its chart moves with both the token's own demand and the underlying equity's price. Enabled pairing assets come from the factory whitelist — see stock tokens for how the underlying assets work.

Reading the numbers

Prices and volume in this view are shown in USD where available, but the curve itself settles in the paired asset — the token page shows both. A stock token's own price moves on market hours while the curve trades 24/7, so weekend moves in a memestock are token demand only.

Before you trade

Curve tokens are high-risk assets: prices move fast, liquidity can be thin, and transactions are irreversible. Verify contracts on the explorer — every token page links its curve — and read how Vectr works before sizing in.
